About GhiaLogic
A Versatile Communicator
GhiaLogic is a Cum Laude graduate from the University of Houston. She studied Communication Media Production and minored in African American studies. Having lived in Houston for 5 years and being from Los Angeles, Ghia has always had multicultural friends. When she combined her passion for communication and the world around us, she came up with the show GhiaLogic the Experience. The focus is to bring people together using humor, charisma, and knowledge to help enlighten people on their neighbors around the globe! Open your mind and be excited about learning new things.
So, What is Being Culturally Competent?
Cultural Competence is the ability to understand, communicate with, and effectively interact with people across different cultures. In essence, it is lacking ignorance to people that look or were raised differently than you! Have a positive attitude towards cultural differences!
Why it Matters
Currently in America, injustices to people of color, brown or black, have become normalized. The reason most people don't see anything as "wrong" is because they lack empathy for the group that is being done wrong. People root for the wall being built to divide Mexico and the U.S. without fully understanding what they are running from. People believe Black People that get shot in the back by police deserve it. Why? Because they "talked back" to the police. GhiaLogic the Experience will focus on uniting people and showcasing everyone's world view and their experiences.
